Hello!!! Summer is here! Many of us are happy to go out in the sun to enjoy. But, if your skin is sensitive to the harsh sun rays, there be quite a problem. Specially if you’ve prickly heats, your entire holiday season can be ruined. Well, here are a few quick remedies to soothe all the itchiness.

1. Apply a thick paste of coconut oil and cumin seeds powder. Keep it for a while and then gently wash it with cool water. Repeat for a few days till the prickly heat decreases.


2.  Applying starchy water will also help. Add a little cornstarch in a bowl of water and apply this on your skin. Wash it after 20 mins and apply herbal powder.


3. Rose water is one of the best ways to soothe the skin. Apply rose water whenever you find your skin itching. Your skin will get relieved instantly.


4.  Make a paste of Neem leaves ( Margosa) and apply it as a body pack. Need will heal your skin with its medicinal properties.


5. Aleo Vera gel is the best remedy for all types of skin problems. It help to moisturize and soothe the skin immediately.


6. Make sure you have a healthy diet. Include fruits like watermelon and vegetables like cucumber in your meals. They will cool your internal system. Avoid eating spicy and oily foodstuffs.


7. Applying honey and rose water pack to the prickly heats is also another effective option.


8. Dip a cloth in  cold water and wipe the affected area whenever it scratches. Make sure the water is not too cold or it will burn your skin.


9. Use herbal soaps if you have prickly heats. Avoid any product with harsh chemicals as they will only worsen the condition.


10. Lastly, make sure you wear cotton outfits. Wearing  body hugging outfits will create more rash. It is best to avoid Lycra, leather and any synthetic materials. Let your skin breath so that it can heal quickly

Natural tips to treat sun tan


Cucumber juice: Apply cucumber juice on your face for 10 minutes. You can also add honey to the paste of cucumber. The cooling effect of the cucumber will sooth the burnt skin.

Yogurt & lemon bleach:  Mix yogurt with lemon juice and apply it on your skin. Keep it for 20 mins & wash off. This is one of the best remedy for reducing sun tan.

Potato: For mild tanned skin, rub peeled potato skin on the affected area or raw potato juice for fast relief.

Honey & Yogurt: Make a thick pate of turmeric powder with yogurt and honey. Apply this paste on your skin for about 15-20 minutes and rinse it off in cold water.

Aloe Vera gel: Apply aloe vera gel on your skin to heal it completely. Aloe Vera has medicinal properties that will sooth and moisturize your skin instantly.

Tomato: Make a paste of tomato and apply it on your face, neck and hands. Keep it for around 20 mins and wash off. It acts like a natural toner & will remove the tan completely. Try this method for glowing skin.

3 Simple Remedies For Your Skin


For Soft skin:  Take yogurt in a bowl and add a pinch of turmeric. Mix it properly. Apply this paste for 15 minutes on your hands & feet before taking a bath.

For glowing skin: Take Aloe Vera gel and mix lime juice. Mix well and apply on hands and feet. This will remove the tan and also will heal your skin.


For moisturized skin: Take cream and add a little sugar and turmeric powder. Massage your hands and feet well with this mixture. Wash well after 20 mins. This acts like a natural scrub and moisturizer. Repeat this treatment regularly for best results. 

How To Get Rid Of Dry Lips


1.     Honey & Glycerin: Make a paste of honey and glycerin and apply it before going to bed for soft and supple lips.

2.    Milk cream: Regularly apply fresh milk cream on your lips for around 10 minutes. Now gently wash your lips with a cotton ball dipped in lukewarm water. Apply a little glycerin for a natural gloss.

3.    Cucumber juice: Rub cucumber juice over the lips and leave it for 15 minutes. It works wonders!

4.    Castor/ Almond oil/ Coconut oil: A Few drops of Castor oil, Almond oil or Coconut oil will moisturize them instantly.
